Environment, health and safety (EHS) policy

At Simson Power Tools AB, we strive for world-class environmental, health and safety (EHS) performance. It is everyone's responsibility to ensure that we achieve this goal through continuous improvement. We will prevent workplace accidents and pollution, promote employee health and well-being, and reduce the environmental impact of our operations and their energy use.

By

• ensure that the health and safety of employees is given the highest priority,
• consider existing legislation, regulations as minimum requirements,
• evaluate health and safety risks, environmental impact and energy use and systematically implement improvement plans for prevention,
• provide well-designed and attractive workplaces and premises,
• use the best possible environmental, health and safety technologies and practices,
• develop and offer sustainable products that create customer value,
• require suppliers and subcontractors to apply the principles of this policy,
• set targets and provide the resources, information, training and attention needed to ensure compliance with this policy,
• ensure that MHS performance and compliance with this policy is monitored, documented and communicated in a clear and transparent manner,
• ensure that MHS impacts are taken into account in all business decisions.

All SIMSON employees are expected to recognise and apply this policy.
